It was creationism that destroyed my religion and forced me to become openly aware of and highly sensitive to how Christian Fundamentalism works. Many years ago, I used to believe some of the things Fundamentalists endorse like the notion that America was founded by Christian Principles only to find out later on that it is all a blatant lie invented by fundamentalists to further their political agenda. Well after all these years, all I can say is NO MORE! No more believing in just about everything I'm told by Christian fundamentalists! No more falling for their political claptraps! No more embracing the false notion which claims that life will be a whole lot better if America becomes a theocratic nation with prayer, bible reading, and God being restored in public schools and Hollywood going back to create wholesome family friendly films and TV shows! No more praying, "God Save America!" No More engaging in Christian fantasies of a better life if all worshiped God, go to church, believe in creationism, read the Bible and pray every day!! No, no! No more! Especially when they spew out god-awful crap like this Facebook post made following yesterday's tragic event in Connecticut:
